Are we as Christians called to change someones behavior? What is it about that that is so appealing to us? Does the way you live determine the way God looks at you? Christian culture has a nack for "calling them like i see them" as if we can determine someone's standing with God based on the way a person lives. In this episode we explore the difference between a person's life: who they are as a beloved creation, and lifestyle: what they do with that revelation. What are the implications of judging someone's standing with God based on their behaviors or life choices? What are we attempting to change when we minister to someone? All these questions asked and more on today's episode!

Free Indeed is an outreach to all who, regardless of sexual orientation, desire a personal relationship with God.
Free Indeed Radio: Episode 1- What Not To Say
In Christian Culture so often when we are faced with something that makes us uncomfortable or we feel ill equipped to handle it gracefully and scripturally so what happens is you end up "speaking the truth in love" however this doesn't end up being very loving. In this episode we will explore what phrases are most commonly used to minister to those who are same sex attracted, the attitudes behind them, and the effects felt by each. We can all learn a lot from what God tells us to say, We can learn even more when we learn "What not to say".

Christian for years, recently saved. What Easter Really Is.
My name is Brandon and I'm 21 years old. I've been living in Central Oregon for a 7 or 8 years now and been a christian for about the same amount of time. However I didn't really know the love of God and the power of Jesus till last year. Allow me to explain.
I HATE YOU THEREFORE I LOVE YOU!
I Hate You Therefore I Love You!
Tell me how this works. How do "Christians" bring condemnation, shame and feelings of hatred to someone with the expectation of them hearing a message that says, "Jesus loves you?"
Sadly, the old way of thinking (which is currently still alive), is that to testify about Christ' love is to make sure you tell them what is wrong with them.
At Free Indeed, we do not believe in this and we do not follow this practice. In fact we condemn it!

GAY STRAIGHT ALLIANCE OF CHRISTIANS?
Recently, We were asked if we thought that the "gay/straight alliance" clubs are good or do they compromise Christian teaching? We will answer this as we go along.
STUCK!
What does it mean to be stuck? How do we get stuck? What are the consequences of being stuck?
I think of being stuck as being set in our ways. I think of people who are much older who often say, “I’m just set in my ways. That’s why I do what I do”.
I think of what people think about Free Indeed and our mission to reach the hurting and struggling. I think how they tell me, they don’t want to hear what we have to say because they have heard it for so long and have their own way of thinking. I call this “stuck in their ways”.
CHRISTIANS WHO STRUGGLE
Today I would like to share a discussion that was directed toward Christians who feel that the temptation of same-sex attraction and homosexual behavior is just too strong to overcome or not give into.
1Corinthians 10:13
“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it”. (Esv)
As those of us who struggle know, the attraction to another person of the same sex, is great. Just as it is for those who do not have same-sex attraction (opposite attracted) people struggle just like we do. Just as there are biblical standards for same-sex attraction there are biblical standards for opposite sex attraction.
Let’s break down the verse that I gave you and take a look at that from a same-sex perspective, dealing with specifically homosexual acts.
DESIRE
What is it? Is it the same as passion? Is it good or bad? Is it Godly? Can I control it?
As always we look at all topics from a Biblical perspective. I believe you will find that whether you understand the Bible or not you will find this message to be true to the core of your being.
Webster’s defines it as, “To long or hope for” or “To feel the loss of”.
The Bible shows us desire in two distinct ways first….
As with any concept with God there are “two sides to the coin” respectively. God is all loving and holy. He does not push us to Himself yet he sets forth a perfect path to His presence and security.
Let’s go back to the Garden of Eden.
