We invite all! Let us show you that God is love. Let us be with you and together we’ll show
the world what God’s love really looks like.
With one voice let us proclaim Grace to other people of faith. God really does love us. God does want to have a relationship with
us. In fact, he does have a relationship
with us.
Free Indeed’s invitation, we want everyone to know that if you can’t find a
church, group or gathering that accepts you as gay, same-sex attracted or bent
toward that behavior and lifestyle Free Indeed is the place to come. Maybe you love your gay family member or
friend and seek others of like mind. You
will find peace and you will be Free Indeed.
Come one, come all! If you’re looking for a place to enjoy Christianity that isn’t “church”
with like-minded, nonjudgmental, understanding people with which you can speak
openly without fear, Free Indeed is for you.
Join us, enjoy us, share with us and build us up, because it’s your story that makes the
collective so incredibly beautiful. We
are living proof of the power God has in this world; that He reigns in our
lives.
As you’ve seen
in our written material, Free Indeed seeks to reach those who “struggle” with
same-sex attraction and a relationship with God. Part of growth is making sure
the message you have is understood fully; from all aspects of what you have to
offer and say.
The one in the struggle may be the person who is experiencing same-sex
attraction or is living an openly gay life or just simply has a bent toward
that way of thinking as part of their sexuality.
The broader concept of what we are talking about involves all who are near this
topic. This could be friends, family,
coworkers or people at church. Anyone with a desire to understand God’s love
for the person who is homosexual or gay or whatever you want to call it (same-sex
attracted) is welcome into our family.
We have found
many who want to express their love for gay people are “not allowed to”, with
other friends (especially church friends).
They are made to feel as if they approve of a lifestyle dynamic or
behavior that is contrary to their core beliefs. Approving of the person and approving of the
behavior are immensely different.
Each of us
has a behavior that our closest friends or family would not approve of if they
really knew the whole truth about us.
Therefore it’s critical to understand that accepting someone for who they are,
or as we say in Free Indeed, “Approaching a life not a lifestyle”, is exactly what
you’re called to do by God himself! It’s
exactly what Jesus did! He always
approached everyone with an open hand full of Grace and Love.
“Come to me all that are burdened and heavy laden and I will give
you rest”, that’s what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28. “Whosoever
will, may come”, Jesus said that too in Rev. 22:17.
A relationship between a human being and God it is not decided by their
lifestyle, it’s decided by our choice to accept the forgiveness that Jesus gave
us from the cross. That’s a relationship
with God.
