RELATIONSHIPS

?...YOU ARE!

The synopsis of a group discussion on relationships.

What are they, what’s acceptable and what’s appropriate? And what God sees and deems a relationship to be in all of these aspects.
As you know our discussion topic conclusions are the collective thoughts of those who attend. These thoughts are not scientific or in any way extracted from other people’s ideas or written in their own books or writings. These are thoughts from real people in real situations
I hope you will read this article and examine (with an open mind) these thoughts and ideas to enable you to discover within yourself that what you feel relationships are about and how they correspond with your life and what is good and right for you.
Here is our perspective:

Our Focus

ree Indeed stands on a razors’ edge between conservative Christianity (which often leads to legalism and works based faith) and liberal societal theology (all truth is God’s truth, no absolute morality, etc) which has lead to the diluting and perversion of scripture and a splitting of the body of Christ, cultural battle lines being drawn, and a new false moral standard being created. We see two ends of a spectrum seeking to understand the middle. We know the middle and we firmly lay the cross of Jesus here without apology. (Gal 5:2-4)

Though these views both claim (apart from each other) to work toward the same goal of relationship with Christ, they do not. Again, in between these two is where Free Indeed stands. To fill this gap and allow everyone to come closer to each other through the grace and truth that Jesus gave to all mankind. To cause all, both the liberal and the legalist, to know grace and freedom found in Christ more and thus grow closer to Him. (Gal 5:1)

We stand firm on gospel truth.

We accept all people just as they are as Christ does and did.

We are here for all who seek a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ without any regard to your choice of sexual preference or sexual activity.

We are founded on the Bible and its’ truths and the path set before us to be sexually moral before God. (1Cor 6:18)

t is the mission and purpose of Free Indeed to equip all with knowledge, wisdom and understanding of morality before a righteous God. (Proverbs 1:7, 2:10-11 & James 1:5)

Our Focus is NOT:

• the “latest thing” in same sex

cures.

• to tell you what is wrong with

you.

• condemnation, shame or fear.

• to judge your life or lifestyle.

Whether you live in an active LGBTQ

lifestyle, coming out of it, or considering

proceeding into it for the first

time, we are here for you.

Pornography (in all forms) and sexual addiction

In the “straight” world can be healed with help.

We are here for you too.

We do not believe in nor will we promote “Reparative Therapy”. We are not a “Recovery” group!

We do not believe SSA is in and of itself sin.

Come to Jesus as you are without changing who you are beforehand! (Rev 22:17)

We are here to help you find him in a safe, open and accepting environment.

We CAN CHANGE NO ONE! We do not believe the message of Free Indeed can fundamentally change any one or make them do what we or others want them to do. We know true change only comes from the heart of God and only by submission of our free will unto his authority. (Rom 12:2)

We do not promote living in a promiscuous homosexual lifestyle.

We do not promote living an opposite sex “open” lifestyle. Sexual activity outside of marriage is not approved of by God according to his Word.

We do not promote identity or gender questioning therapy even unto making physical changes to the body to modify based on emotion or unresolved thoughts.

We do not promote or approve of the use of or a casual relationship with pornography of any kind. Including but not limited to straight, gay, lesbian, animal, child or violence porn.

We believe pornography and its’ addictive nature is a sexual identity issue and the person using it is in crisis and therefore in need of immediate and deep rooted help.

We believe you can be a Christian and be confused by same sex attraction to the point of living an openly gay lifestyle.

We believe God has given all mankind provision to walk in freedom of SSA if one so chooses. (1Cor 10:13)

We ACCEPT all who come to us or reach to us for help, understanding or long term friendship and discipleship without a requirement to change first.

We know that to LIVE RIGHT YOU MUST FIRST BELIEVE RIGHT! Not the other way around. Jesus always blessed first then set people on their new path of life. We are committed to do the same.

Acceptance: To allow someone to be whoever they are in front of you and become what they are called to be before God.

Lack of Acceptance: To expect someone to change to be near you or to reject them because they have chosen a new path in life that no longer agrees with or parallels what you knew them to once believe.

Grace is the power Jesus gave us to walk in an upright holy relationship with our creator God.

Grace is NOT permission to lay down in your sin or trouble and expect God to look the other way because it’s “too hard”. All sin being equal to God, there is no excuse.

God does NOT look upon our sin and bless it because we choose not to believe his word and power are sufficient for our lives every day in every way. (2Cor 12:9)

A true follower of the Christ of the Bible will understand the meaning of LOVE and act on it toward all man even to the point of laying down ones’ own right and life. (1Cor 13:4-8a)

e of Free Indeed want you to see God in a “new” (to you) way. He is pure love and peace. Do not condemn someone from God because you don’t like what they do as this puts you in rebellion against the Cross. Do not accept someone into a life of perceived openness which will lead to their death, both spiritually and physically. The “ruler of this world” wants to destroy you and everyone you love. He is just waiting for you to reject and harm someone you know or meet so they will feel as if there is no other choice but to follow their confusion and hurt feelings into their death.

WE ARE HERE FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED OF HELP NAVIGATING THE DIFFICULT TERRAIN OF SAME SEX ATTRACTION, SEXUAL IDENTITY, GENDER IDENTITY, HOMOSEXUALITY (INCLUDING PORNOGRAPHY) WITHOUT REGARD TO YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND WITHOUT REGARD TO YOUR CURRENT SEXUAL IDENTITY (STRAIGHT, GAY LGBTQ).
